• Orientation Day @ GCIT

Dear new and returning GCIT students,

Back-to-school day is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to welcome 32 new students from diverse countries and regions to join our program in the upcoming semester!

Many interesting and exciting events await you throughout the new semester. The first event is a joint orientation and lunch party for faculty and students scheduled on Friday, September 8, starting at 10:20 a.m. The location is 1st Fl., RIIC (研創中心一樓, NCCU uphill campus).

Please note that during this all-day joint event, various sessions are tailored for different groups and combinations, including new students, new students + faculty, new students + returning students, all students + GCIT partner media platform, and all students + faculty + staff + GCIT partner.

For honorable guests taking public transportation
It is more convenient to arrive at the Research Innovation and Incubation Center via NCCU Campus Bus #2. When you arrive at NCCU gate, please walk in and you can see the Campus Bus Stop on the right-hand side of the road between “ShiWei Hall (四維堂)” and “Administration Building (行政大樓)”. After getting on the bus, please alight at the “Research Innovation and Incubation Center (研創中心)” bus stop, and the conference hall is in the building in front of you.

For honorable guests taking taxi
Taxis are allowed to enter the campus and are free of charge if the driver leaves the campus within an hour. If the taxi is equipped with GPS, we suggest to show the driver the Name of the conference hall “政大研創中心” or navigate by the following link (https://goo.gl/maps/HgjP6BJfQkVXKpcJA) You are also welcome to ask the front door guard when entering the campus.

For honorable guests driving to NCCU
1. For the guests who have applied for parking inside NCCU, the plate number has already been registered. Please inform the front door guard that you are going to join the speech at the Research Innovation and Incubation Center, they will guide you to the building. The parking space is available at the basement of the Research Innovation and Incubation Center. Please take the elevator to the first floor and you can arrive at the conference hall.

2. For honorable guests who intend to arrive at NCCU by car without prior parking space reservation, external visitors' license plates will be scanned by the gate's camera upon entry, and payment made upon exiting. The first hour is free of charge. Commencing from the second hour, a charge of NT$30 is applicable for every 30 mins. Following periods shorter than 30 mins are rounded up to 30 mins. The daily maximum limit is NT$300. 

Parking is limited to outdoor parking lots.
